This is the second module of my Modular Winter Village and features the Winter Village Toy Shop. You can see the technic pins that join together the modules.
About this creation
Two policemen in full dress uniform guard the road block that mark off the pedestrian precinct, where all the children of the village queued up to conseign their letters to Santa and his elves.
There's a bbq stall (similar to the Christmas tree stall in the first module); I didn't add yet the sticker (that I have not yet made, but it's on my to-do list) with the prices of frankfurters and turkey drumsticks, like the one of the tree stall.
The little Joe tought that was a great idea to go to the Village with the skis, but right now he's in bit of a situation, don't you think?
The Toy Shop (did you notice that I built it mirrored compared to the version in the original set?) became a Lego Shop and two clerks are carring Lego boxes undeneath the Christmas tree, in addition to all the gift-wrapped packets already lying there.
Somebody left a bycicle chained to the lamppost. Jennifer, the mother of the little Rob, who's giving his letter to Santa, is taking pictures of the scene.
Let's turn on the Lifelites!!
A preview of the first two of the four modules (so far, but with the Winter Village Post Office I think that there'll be another one on its way)... sorry for the bad picture!
If you think that this is all too Christmassy (expecially in july) and that I am out of my mind, I totally agree; so I'm workin' right in these days on an interchangeable plate 10 studs wide x 32 studs long with a DJ set and a masked party instead of the Christmas tree, Santa and all the children.
Coming soon: Module 03 - Winter Village Main Street, with a Unimog with snow plough and a newlyweds car.
