Kotekk: How long have we been digging here now?
Tazis: A few days. And still nothing.
Kotekk: I think we should’ve found something by now.
Tazis: We should just give up.
Kotekk: We can’t. Our Koro depends on it.
Tazis: We probably have to go back soon, anyway. Our torch is running out.
Kotekk: Hang on… Stop drilling.
Kotekk: I think I can hear something.
Toa: Alright… Matoran?
Kotekk: A Toa?
Tazis: What’re you, crazy?
Toa: Sorry about that. I thought you were grave robbers or something.
Kotekk: …Grave robbers?
Toa: Yeah, you guys just dug into some ruins.
Tazis: Well, not on purpose.
Toa: It’s ok, Airik! Just two Matoran.
Airik: Thank the Great Beings, Silewon. I was afraid we had been discovered.
Kotekk: What makes these ruins so special that you want to keep them a secret?
Airik: These are ruins of an ancient underground city. I believe something may have lived here before we even existed.
Silewon: What are you two doing all the way down here anyway?
Kotekk: Our Koro was recently attacked by a violent beast.
Tazis: We were searching for materials to repair the damage.
Airik: What did this ‘beast’ look like?
Kotekk: Its body was covered in blue armor and it had some sort of propeller on its back.
Tazis: Its face was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It looked like it wasn’t really alive…
Airik: Oh dear.
Airik: Sounds like that creature that disappeared after one of our bases was recently attacked.
Silewon: The one that you were guarding?
Airik: Yes. Whoever it was that attacked still hasn’t been caught.
Silewon: We need to report this immediately.
Kotekk: What about these ruins?
Airik: I’ll go ahead and report it. Silewon, you stay here with these two and see if you find anything of interest.
Tazis: Hey, what's this?
Kotekk: It appears to be a coffin.
Tazis: Hey look, a Kanohi!
Tazis: It doesn’t fit on my face.
Kotekk: Probably because it’s really old.
Tazis: There’s something inscribed in it. I can’t read it, though.
Silewon: Let me see. Maybe my Kanohi can help here.
Silewon: “The Light of the First shall defeat the darkened soul.”
Kotekk: What does that mean?
Silewon: I don’t know, but it sounds important. I’ll take it with me for now.
Tazis: I don’t see anything else here.
Silewon: Seems like this was just one grave. There might be more buried around here, though.
Kotekk: Hey, it looks like there’s another tunnel buried under the rubble here!
Silewon: That’s odd. Maybe somebody made it here before we did.
Tazis: Want us to dig it up?
Silewon: No, let’s leave this place for now. Without Airik here, we’ll run out of air soon.
Kotekk: Where are we going?
Silewon: You two should head back to your Koro. I’m going after Airik.
Kotekk: Alright. Goodbye!
Silewon: Actually, the tunnel we used collapsed… So I’m going through the one you dug.
Tazis: So I guess we’ll be sticking together for a while.
Tazis: Hey, do you know any good songs?
Kotekk: Please, no singing…
Haha that was good, funny ending. Oh and, what i found funny was that the toa thought the matoran were stealing, but yet they stole the mask from a grave lol! Great chapter, finally that beast is getting into the story. 5/5
