The Cockroach tank is a proposal for a place holder while the Ogre's replace the older tanks. This means that the Union can keep up the sheer numbers, without redesign the Ogre to become cheaper and easier to produce.
About this creation
The tank is a (for the Unions standart) medium sized vehicles and resembles another prototype from 2 years back (which resembled a T-55). It has a 105MM anti tank gun, and has a crew of 2 or 3. It's amde to be produced in very large numbers to overwhelm the enemy. This means they're very cheap to make and maintain.
It's mainj function is to act as a placeholder as the unions MBT, while the Ogre will act as a heavy MBT that will lead the smaller tanks.
Currently the generals are discussing wether or they should introduce these tanks to the army. We would like to know what other people think of the tank itself, and the role they will have in the Unions motorized brigades.
