The extended, directors cut of 'Colonel Robert Watts'. In it you will see what happened after the Innies fired.
About this creation
Continuing from where I left off

”John dove to his left. He caught three rounds in his side—knocking the breath from his body. One bullet penetrated his black suit. He felt it ping off his ribs and pain slash through him like a red-hot razor.”

”He ignored the wound and rolled to his feet. He had a clear line of fire. He squeezed the trigger once—a three-round burst caught the center guard in the forehead.”

”Sam and Fred wheeled around the door frame, Sam high, Fred low. Their silenced weapons coughed and the remaining pair of guards went down.”

”Watts remained behind the crate. He brandished his pistol. ‘Stop!’ he screamed. ‘My men are coming. You think I’m alone? You’re all dead. Drop your weapons.’”

“John crawled to the wet bar and crouched there. He willed the pain in his stomach to go away.”

“He signaled Sam and Fred and held up two fingers, then pointed his fingers over his head.”

“Sam and Fred fired a burst of rounds over Watts. He ducked.”

“John vaulted over the bar and leaped onto his quarry. He grabbed the pistol and wrenched it out of his hand, breaking the man’s index finger and thumb. John snaked his arm around Watts’ neck and choking the struggling man into near-unconsciousness.”

“Kelly and Linda entered. Kelly took out a syringe and injected Watts—enough polypseudomorhpine to keep him sedated for the better part of the day.”
The above text is taken from the book Halo: The Fall of Reach.
I didn’t make this as long as I wanted, but the frustration caused by figs constantly collapsing got the better of me.

These are the Insurrectionists (commonly referred to by their ironic name ‘innie’). The two with red ski masks and green uniforms carried the armoured crate in, while the one with sand green pants was Watts’ personal body guard. Watts is the one in the tan military tunic.

These are the ‘heroes’ in order of appearance.
- John (S-117); he has the white stripe on his helmet to indicate he is the leader. Now, if you are one of those people saying “Wait a minute dude, the chief wears green armour” slap yourself in the forehead, put down your XBOX controller and read some Halo literature.
- Sam (S-034); hefting two packs of C-12 explosives. He is the strongest Spartan II and seems to like explosions at the end of mission.
- Fred (S-104); carrying an MA2B, and is one of my favourite Spartans. He likes knives.
- Kelly (S-087); she has the teams med-kit and the syringe. She was really screwed up in awfully inaccurate Halo Legends series, they made her look like Catherine, and gave her SPI amour instead of the Mark IV armour ALL Spartan IIs were issued.
- Linda (S-058); my favourite Spartan. The book said she detached the scope of here rifle, but I didn’t because I didn’t want to break my only BA sniper rifle.

Here is an extra shot of the armoured crate. And yes…

…it can be lifted by two figs.
July 7th is coming up, and it is an important day for Halo fans such as myself. It is Bungie day, and they are giving up Halo officially to 343 Industries. Some foolishly think it will ruin the Halo universe, though that is quite impossible. Onto my main point, I am currently building a ‘Send-Off’ MOC to well, send off Bungie. If you are a Halo fan, I urge you to do the same, or not. It’syour decision.

Yay! I already finished most of the book. I've got about seventy pages to go. Although Watts had an older version pistol than the standard issue magnum. Other than that, it was very accurate. |

It's a rip-off! Just kidding. Next time you post a director's cut show us more of the setup and the unseen build instead of showing it in the first edition. It will be more interesting. |

not to be rude, but it is the game that is fact, the book is opinion. but i agree with the later, "read the book" part. if you didnt know about johns past, how can you call yourself a halo fan? anyway, i like how the mock goes so well with the story itself, very good! |

I must say, its good to see a halo BOOK moc rather than a halo game one, and the lighting and build captures the mood of the book very nicely. I'll be doing a send off MOC, after I get that comic episode done. |

SPI armor? I thought Kelly had EVA armor in Legends. Or maybe red CQB armor, I can't remember who that was.
It may have been EVA armour, and that red CQB guy is 'Ralph'. Either of them aren't accurate. |

omg. my mind blew up at the awesome set you've got here. Seriously, the lighting is awesome, and the figs are very LEGO-like, yet I could recognize the Halo instantly when I started reading the captions. In sum: awesome seeing a scene from the book rendered in LEGO. |

No, you're the wrong one. BOTH the games and books are fact. The game gives details, but cannot give all because it would bore the masses. The books give a lot more detail because only those who have patience care to read them. No, the books are not opinion, Bungie wouldn't have allowed them if they were 'just opinion'. BTW, if you want to 'correct' someone, use proper grammar. |
