Inspired by Chris Doyle, this lenticular mosaic, using 4600 cheese slopes, morphs from Darth Vader to Anakin. To be debuted at Brick Fair 2011. Watch the video to see the effect.

This is literally one of THE coolest and most ingenious Lego builds I've ever seen AND it's Star Wars! Whatever (or whoever) gave you the idea to use cheese slopes to create the lenticular effect?
I got the idea from Chris Doyle. You can see his work at his website Reasonably Clever. |

I see you have used the power of the 'holographic' technology. (For the felllow MOCers) You know those 3D images on a piece of card that are ridged and appear to move? This incorporates that idea. I've done it in my primary school. It is very clever, and (at you now) what a good way to utilise this technique! |

You're a god among men. And just how much did you have to pay for all those cheese slopes? Oh never mind, I remember. Hey, shoot me an email if you would please, I need to talk to you about something (that we discussed at BW). Great mosaic! ~ Chris. |
