This has to be my favorite creation I have undertaken in a long time. I have been playing piano for 13 years (since I was three) and I love my instrument. I had never before attempted to build a Lego grand piano, but now I built two, one black and one white. After I finished them, I decided to make something to place them in...this led to the concert hall. I modeled it after the Hollywood Bowl and a local amphitheater.

About this creation

I built the grand piano so that it could open and close. I also covered it with tiles to give it a shiny and finished look.

After finishing, I looked at the stage and realized it was dark inside. So I quickly installed some lights on the light rack…it was totally coincidental that the lights fit perfectly on the light rack and were at the correct angle.

I really like the angle you created with normal bricks, I'm not used to see it in creations that are not sculptures. The piano is amazing.

Nice build here, Chief! Almost a forced perspective set up with the amphitheater, making it appear deeper than it actually is. And I like the clear music holder thing, never seen that before. Well done!

Quoting Elk Guard I love everything about this. The stage is fantastic with the angled ceiling and lighting and the piano looks grea...but the tech room and dressing room are the icing on the cake that really make this pop for me!

Yes I agree! I had finished the stage and the seats and realized that the back was really bland so I added those details.
