COBRA's MRAP APC Think of it as a school bus for the very, very bad kids.

About this creation

My latest from my GI JOE binge is the COBRA Python. It is loosely based on the Lazar MRAP. It is an Armored Personnel Carrier built to insert soldiers onto the battlefield.

It is armed with a 20mm auto cannon on a rotating turret that is controlled remotely by a gunner inside the Python (see photo at the bottom) and 2 M240 machine gun nests on the sides. It features MRAP design (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) with a V-shaped bottom.

The crew in this particular Python is the driver, 2 COBRA officers (1 gunner & 1 field commander), and about 5 COBRA troops. (Of course, you could pack more in, but I didn't want them to get claustrophobic.) You can see what those crew members look like at the bottom (NOTE: Python Driver is based on H.I.S.S. Driver)

These photos show the front hatches (on both sides), the storage bins (on both sides) and the double door in the back- one blast door and an inner door that acts as a ramp.

Very Nice, I really like the angled front. The top looks like it could handle all kinds of additional accessories. Ot reminds me a little of the Russian rocket launcher from Spy's Like Us.
