Fight for freedom
An illegal Metal Legion attack over the border of Slovenija And Croatia. Slovenija being one of the rare countries not dominated by the tiranic Metal Legion, and a strategic point against all who dare fight for freedom - in the Karavan Alps, specificaly the idylic Jezersko, there are larger space prots where the Svarun Sentinel supply the european resistance with weapons and strategic information. And since I haven't seen an Austrian garrison, and three or four Croatian, I figured the assault could start here. No pre-existing Metal Legion characters included. Just infantry.
About this creation

Probably my most massive moc to date, but not in quality. I did find it suitable for "Deus' Finest" (wich is a series of six MOCs with upmost effort put in, to achieve perfect image on my home page), though.

Ormoľ, close to border as it is, was the first attack point, for doorway to Austria (anti-air defence is very strong since Metal Legion's first attempts of crossing the country by air) and directly to Jezersko, wich is, although naturaly protected, the Achilles' heel of the Crimson Freedom. Now, twenty years after the shot from the first tank in the Slovene civil war, on the same place (almost), near the Ormoľ train station, the first explosion for the second fight for freedom cracks the morning.
The Crimson Freedom base, even though a hard nut to crack has no chance of holding the metal machine's advancement, but the brave men and women of Slovenija are figighting hard and might just stop it deeper in the throat of Slovenija (check the maps to see what I mean). But not only our brave souls fight here, this is the the world's most importaint battle today - if the Legion reaches the other side of the paradise I call my home, the world's freedom might be doomed for ever.

An anti-air gun, positioned on top of the bunker. The medic has taken the position after the gunner had died.

And some pictures of the action.

This is an under-cover Metal Legion soldier. Literaly under his cover, in the other perspective he is not an under-cover agent.

The blasted blast door. Seems like it has done it's work. Sadly, not well.

And a couple of pictures of the anti-air gun.

What is my hand doing here?!

That's right, displaying a feature of the diorama!

It's the women's dressing room. One is taking her gun, ready to protect her country and freedom of humanity as a consequence. The other is still dressing up.

Aditional picture.

On to the minifigures - the Ormoľ border defence squad consists of a multitue of members, with names. The invaders have never identified themselves, so they have no names.

OK - first three:
Soldiers.
From left to right:
Darinka Golobić
Age: 27
About: Joined the force after visiting the Crimson Freedom concert.

Zala Trdovrat
Age: Barely 19
About: when she joined the resistance, she had stated that her age wa the minimum to join, wich is twenty one. Only after her first fight (where she had fought like a lion), her commander was revealed her true age. She was kept, for she is a valuable member of the team.

Vojnomir Črnivec
Age: 32
About: always very respective for hsi elders, even the furthest, this slavic neo-paganisht had changed his name from the too germanic Ferdinand.

Next we have, again from left to right, specified soldiers.

Đuro Đurković
Age: 23
About: his parents moved to Slovenija out of economic reasons in the time of Jugoslavija, from Croatia(n region). His family has acumulated well, and still it was a hard decision to fight against his kin in this war. He chose Crimson Freedom, and on this front, Slovenija, over the Metal Legion and the home of his elders, for the freedoma nd lives of people across the globe.

Luka Vodnik
Age: 24
About: master of martial arts and deductive logic, he is the third in command of this squad. He and Tim "kastrat" Treven were never very good friends.

Tim "kastrat" Treven
Age: 31
About: although not very bright (in fact he is mentaly retarded) and at times incomparably annoying, he assigned for border defense as soon as he heard what horrors the Metal Legion commits in countires of the "third world". He lives in Kranj though.

Armiran Beton
Age: 22
About: imigrant from Albania, he is always happy, and always has something funny to say. After his homeland was conquered, he escaped to Slovenija to be able to stand a chance against the evil Legion and it's quest to subdue the free men.

Maja Kovač
Age: 46
About: after her two sons were killed in operations against the Metal Legion, she decided to join the Crimson freedom. Sadly, she failed the shooting tests, but has proven to be a good medic. After she had seen the horrors of the war first hand, her aim improved significantly. If she survives today, that might aid her in battles to come.

And the Commanders:

Commander Jure ®alohar
Age: 32
About: a physics teacher on a high school, highly educated - doctor of geology and master of physics, has joined the crimson freedom as it's goals are very much according to his ideals. Hates everything pop and fashion related, loves classical music, psychology and fossils.

Commander Andreja Sapeľ
Age: 36
About: alpinist by heart, she is unstopable, even in impossible circumstances. She was in the first Crimson Freedom squad, and is the only member on the team that has ever been to the Crimson Freedom headquarters.

First three of the croatian Metal Legion squad. They were sent by [name pendind], to take care of the border defence.

Second part. The soldier with the black hat is the "under-cover" operative and the leader of this assault team.

And look! I have invented a technique for perfectly smooth box! You can reverse engineerthe technique, it is used many times over in this MOC.

If you too deny the supremacy of the Metal Legion, rate this MOC with 4 or 5 yellow heads, to help Crimson Freedom win the war!

Quoting Hrvoje Hedžet Also, I have two questions: Are you member of Slovenian LUG 'Kocke' (That's the name, right?)? Do you guys have any kind of forum or something? Once again, that's really good MOC.
"Kocke Klub", I am not a part of, but I am on my way, still waiting for aproval on the forum, wich we have. And tahnk you for these comments.

Very action packed MOC. I really have to say that this creation would lost its meaning without Darinka. Her last name is Golobič (probably with soft č).

I just couldn't write a comment without giving you a like, although I already gave you one (let's you say that first comment was written by Commander Hedžet, and this one by me, like a civilian). Post without 'I like it' just looks ugly. I guess I should be more carefull with what I'm saying in my comments, but I think propaganda in game like this isn't such a horrible thing (it's sometimes actually funny). Also, I have two questions: Are you member of Slovenian LUG 'Kocke' (That's the name, right?)? Do you guys have any kind of forum or something? Once again, that's really good MOC.

Nice dio, and the dressing room is a great touch. A lot of action here, and the blast door destruction is very well done. Not so sure I'm in favor of using the gold/jewel/whaterver ore it is as the muzzle blast, but I guess it's better than tryign to do it in Photoshop or gimp all the time. An excellent battle, to be sure.

The build is great, in my opinion; very neat and solid. The landscaping is also nice, but maybe some plants (excluding the grass) would have been a nice addition. If you really put so much effort into this, why didn't you edit it with GIMP? Because of the deadline? Anyway, I wouldn't post blurry pictures (I delete them immediately), just put the camera on a pile of books.

I really like the railing, but the AA gun is very spindly and the walls are lacking detail.

Quoting Hrvoje Hedžet
1: It's not connected or inspired by Big Brother. 2: The attack could come from Hungary, but I made it as it is because of the statistical possibility - more teams from where you come from. And this makes a lot more sense. 3: It's not oficial military, but it is a strike from a "protected" country on a free one. 4: They are not victims of the fight, but if you want to look at it this way, check out how your propaganda is showing the CF. The reason for making a base is also to show taht the ML MOCs are noting but propaganda showing the CF in it's worst light, even though we have our organized defence points. 5: They are funny (to me too), but you have to watch out, on MOCpages it is not very welcome to make fun of anything. And I don't want my friend getting banned for ranting over you.

I don't like CF at all, but I'll play fair and give you a like for a great MOC. I see some neat techniques used in this MOC. Fence looks great. I think you can make completely smooth boxes using the cheese slopes too, but I guess this holds it much better. I'm glad I have read the text, since Armiran Beton gave me a good laugh (because of the name, duh). That half-naked chick is probably result of watching Big Brother on TV (and that's one bad TV show). Am I right? Interior that allows playability is nice detail, but those blown doors just don't look really good. How dare you to acuse Croatian forces attacking Slovenian forces? I know that's not official military, but you're just trying to make Slovenians and Crimson Fiefdom look like victims in this fight. P.S. Maybe this is your biggest MOC, but it shows whole Slovenia. :P (jokes about size of Slovenia ar sometimes so funny) Nice shot from CF, but it won't be enough. CF troops are definetly outnumbered.

You can choose between genocide and freedom.
Quoting A Monkey But I thought, according to you, there is no such thing as freedom?
There isn't, but this is not how it is in the real world, right? Except if you've seen weirdos in mandalorian uniforms running around with guns (except when Star Wars fans found out about clone wars)?

Mr. "A Monkey" is correct, Deus has publicly admitted that he belives not in freedom at all. Thus all that this group stands for is a lie. A LIE!!!! I however refrain from refusing what cannot be denied, and today that is the fact that this is an amazing peice of mocage. Too bad it's for the wrong side. The crimson liars!

Great! Don't forget to add this to the Contact Alpha One group. My troops need backup! So please, comment on this! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/277341. I like your box design. With your permission, could I use the design? And also, I was thinking that we could create a new resistance movement to fight the ML. The main color would be white. It's just an idea. Keep up the awesome mocs and Metal will rust but Freedom is forever!!!
