This is a recreation of the Brabham BT54, the car used to contest the 1985 season for Brabham.
About this creation
The Brabham BT54, built for 1985, was the last competitive chassis built by the fabled Brabham marque. It was powered by a 1.5L turbocharged BMW four-cylinder that produced a "modest" 1,500 horsepower. This car took Brabham's last victory, the 1985 French Grand Prix, with Nelson Piquet at the wheel. It was also the fastest car of 1985 in a straight line, when Marc Surer was clocked at 208 mph at Paul Ricard. Brabham scored 26 points and finished 5th in 1985.
This is superb! When I saw the thumbnail I didn't think much of it, but when I looked at it closely I was stunned. A huge amount of detail for such a small car. It looks realistic too! Fantastic work :)
