Bugger is just your basic rover. I built Bugger to showcase the TT Module which is on this page under modules. If you go here MRA-U you can view a mobile robotic arm that also uses the TT Module. Anyways Bugger acts like any rover, it just drives around and moves away from obsticles if it hits them. The program makes it where Bugger turns a random amount from 2-5seconds each time and backs up a random amount from 4-9 seconds each time. This insures that Bugger will not repeat the same path every time. The program is written in RCX 2.0 code. Also because of some confusion the definition of Bugger that fits this robot is the following: "Slang. A fellow; a chap: “He's a silly little bugger, then” (John le Carré), dictionary.com"
Bugger was fun to build. I started out just trying to make a good base for a mobile arm. I wanted it to be compact and strong, from this I developed the tt module or triangle tread module. Bugger is just two of that module put together with a bumper on front and a RCX on top. If you go here: Bugger you can view larger pictures of this invention, just click on the sliding pictures on the page.
