A bustling city street with a large public plaza and several minifig-scale skyscrapers
About this creation
My latest project is a large city, or at least a segment of one. Actually, it's going to be concentrated on a single section of a busy street, and a large public plaza. Naturally, i don't have a good name for it.
The first structure is on the southeast corner of the plaza, the five-story offices of Jarvis Consulting. Jarvis Consulting specializes in maximizing synergy for its clients to position them well to execute cost-saving market-leading decisive actions. Companies from around the world hire Jarvis to align their dynamic market strategies and optimize their productivity.
Jarvis' worldwide headquarters is located on 53 Oxford St., on the corner of Bunk Plaza, in a brand-new modern/art-deco five-story tower.
Bunk Plaza is the most coveted address in all of the city; a central meeting place for the Glorious Llama Revolution of 1980, it now has undergone a great deal of urban renewal projects to become a place to gather, do business, or just enjoy a sunny day. Here is a construction photo, where the Jarvis Consulting tower is located at lower left, and the subway station entrance is located at lower right. Foundations for several other towers are in place or coming soon.
the plaza hotel and convention center is rising on the opposite corner of bunk plaza, with a a reflecting pool on the corner of the glass facade. the architecture features external support elements that are both striking and functional. the first floor features a glass-clad lobby as well as a convention hall and ballroom. presently, a spirited political rally is taking place in the ballroom, with a standing-room only crowd.
"Would the owner of the gray X-Wing with Yavin plates please move their vehicle? It's parked in a fire lane."
the rooms in the plaza are lavishly appointed with magnificent views of the public square below, and comfortable beds.
