After his success in handling the C12 project, German engineer Lars Fuchslocher was given another challenge by the International Space Agency: find a practical solution for transporting arriving and departing astronauts on the expanding Moonbase as safely and quickly as possible.
Fuchslocher's solution: build an elevated train track and design a space train to carry passengers around the base, with train stations at strategic points.
Although his idea seemed somewhat retro and non-innovative, Fuchslocher's decision to rely on simple yet effective technological ideas paid off once more, and although a train might not be considered as very advanced, Fuchslocher's team did have to find innovative solutions, especially to make it light enough to run on an elevated track and to adapt the wheel system to keep it from flying off the track in a low gravity environment.
Note from the author:Since this creation is fully motorized and runs by itself, I thought a video presentation would more appropriate.

Be kind you guys, as this is my very first video montage!
For those of you without a fast internet connection or with just more traditional tastes, here are a few pictures.
Comments about the model (or even the video itself) are, of course, very welcome!
