I did something a little different this time; it's not exactly a muscle car, it's more of a classic racecar, soemthing that would race in Le Mans before it drove on the street. So here is the legendary '67 GT40. I saw that the Bing Bong Brothers made a '67 GT40, and when I looked up the car, I saw that there was a second version: the MK IV, so that's what I built. I used some different techniques on this car, and the window idea (using another black plate to make the windshield so when the door opens there's somehing there) came from Firas, so credit goes to him for that. Otherwise the rest of this MOC is completely my own. I hope you enjoy it, and tell me what you think!

Wow Austin this is stunning. I love the shape especially the back. Great engine and interior too. Glad you like my micro transporter, I think it transported this exact car to Le Mans in 66. I am actually building a larger version (of the transporter) at this scale. Have you heard of the Classic Race Team Group? We are trying to recreate teams from this era - check it out it might be something that catches your interest. You would be more than welcome to join. I will send an invite. No pressure. |

It's amazing, the shape, the colours, just love it! Only thing you could try is to make the bulb in the roof like the real one..... |

This is very nice and smooth and it's refreshing to see the original and best Ford GT40 in bricks. Very good colour scheme and detail in this beauty. |

Hmm...I think the headlights need more work. It's not your best MOC IMO, but it's still very nice! |

very cool, just on a snobbish note, they were called MKIVs not GT40 MKIVs, stil a great model

Wow this is good. the engine, interior and doors are all excellent. It also looks amazing from all angles. I really like that you have not used stickers to create the stripes. Awesome job all round :) |
