Unfortunatly this projet failed... The weight of the engines whas too much - and the middle section was to stressed. But i wanted to to this ship => so i started again in a more smaller scale. THe result you can check out here

unfortunatly there was not only one reason to stopp this project...the main thing was that the middle section was crashing down by the weight of the big engines. 2.nd i don't have enough pieces. But also a big problem was where to put the fat Lady when i would finished here ;-( I only could put in some of the last pictures i took before dismantling it, if you like ;-) otherwise i could only invite you to look at my smaller Betty which i finished !
I am proficient with LDD too - I used to do CAD engineering drawings long ago so its second nature, but I prefer old school trial and error with my bricks any day! LDD is a good tool to work out design ideas if you don't want to cover the floor in bricks!
