The White Tower
Come, enter quickly, for they are coming in their great black ships! Coming to destroy this place. Therefore, I impart unto thee the final words of myself and a chance of preserving a memory of some of the glory of this place.
About this creation

Once this place was great. No more. I am the last of my order, and this is the last of its strongholds of knowledge.

The room I stand in now is the great meditation chamber. All the sanctums of the order had such places, and once, when there were two more that inhabited this place with me, we would sit for days in deep thought upon the smooth tiles of this room, needing no sustenance but our inner calm. But time is short, personal reminiscence is not what you are here for. We must ascend.

Welcome to the great library. A thousand generations ago, scholars of the order devised an extremely compact method of recording information. Although there are only six great tomes here, Each holds the compiled wisdom of a thousand books by another hand.

There is every sort of knowledge contained here, from the arcane mysteries probed by the great mage-lords of old...

...To knowledge of such mundane tasks as housekeeping. However, we are done here and must now ascend once again...

...to the Seat of Seeing. For this was the true importance of this place; the reason it was established. This tower stands upon the intersection of a vast number of nu-lines, strings of force that can only be felt by an attuned few, yet are the source of all magics and sorcery in the world. This intersection contains so many nu-lines that at rare times, a flash of the future may be granted to he who sits upon the Seat.

But now you must go. Have haste! Their ships are fast and many. Pray to the gods that they do not catch you, and guard what you have learned today from destruction so that those of the future may learn of it. Farewell!

Notes: So, for me at least, this was a pretty big build. I made an effort to avoid using discolored bricks, but unfortunately, I don't have enough nice ones to build the whole tower out of them, so there are a fair number of discolored bricks. Sorry for making everyone read so much, but I do like my story.

Cool story! Also, the base of the tower is interesting. The parrots in it are a bit odd but also kinda neat. All in all, nice work.

Quoting Reece S. This is really cool! Did you have any problems with it falling over? The very base looks thin.
Surprisingly, I don't remember having many issues once I got the balance right.

I like how it's perched atop those rocks, the shots looking in from the top of the tower are neat, there's some cool depth in them.

The concept is nice, but try to decrease the brightness that would help get clearer pictures on the interior. >Eric

This is a really good if only he had given us the books then we could have preserved the knowledge.
