I have been wanting to make one of these for some time. After seeing so many great custom speederbikes, I realized that I wanted to make one that looked just as good without a rider, as it did with a rider. And I think I was able to accomplish just that.

The design of this is wonderful. It is impressive that you managed to make it look good with or without a rider. The only problem is that you must change the legs of the minifigures, but I don't think that can be helped. |

Sure thing! As long as you give me credit, you can use any of my techniques. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery." |

I really like the use of the droid arms for the foot rests! The technique for the legs is also really cool! I just finished V2 of mine and should have it posted tomorrow if you want to check it out. I have a scout trooper riding it now too! |

Thanks I actually was able to build it from just 3 photos. But I looked at everything else to try to figure out how you did the bottom gun. It wouldnt mount any way I tried. So I looked at the links and figured it out. But I am currently trying to find a better way to mount the rider. I dont like the leg design all that much. I am thinking of using hands and sticks. I'll tell you about it if I ever do it. Hahahaha. |

Ok this might sound a little stupid but may I Completely copy your bike. I think it is the best I have ever seen in a minifig scale. I would give you credit if I ever posted it. I couldnt give you half credit like I did on my Snowspeeder because I see NOWHERE on here to fix. So full credit if I ever use it???
Doesn't sound stupid at all and I appreciate that you think it's the best (I think so too but I'm biased). I would be happy if you wanted to build one for yourself. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery..." so the saying goes. |

I don't know enough to comment on the originality, but both the speeder and straddling technique work quite well. |

VERY nice work, Tim! The look of the bike is spot-on and definately better than anything Lego has done so far. I really like the straddling techique you used too (shut it, Phipson!) I don't think I've seen that done before. Can't wait to see this as POTHM:) |
