Nova airlines operates a fleet of 12 A320s. Our new NDO version has proven to be very popular. Recently however, we have decided to take the NDO further, with full retractable landing gear
About this creation

Here is the aircraft in the process of retracting it's landing gear!

Doing a sharp turn just after take-off in the evening

With the landing gear in, the A320NDO is now ready for it's flight on the Nova network.

This scenes let's you see the process of retracting the landing gear.

It also gives you a nice view of the whole aircraft.

The A320NDO shows great resemblance with the real thing

Yes I really like this view

And again, I find it really gives a realistic touch for flight view of the aircraft

Promise, this is the last one (I had 10 others of the same view)

This is the back landing gear, the door can keep the wheel in a closing look-a-like situation, I like this detail a lot.

It's nice to show the underneath of the aircraft.

Details on the back landing gear

And now details on the front landing gear. Here it is in it's folding position.

For detail purposes of the scene, which was suppose to look like an aircraft folding it's landing gear, the wheel appears this way. You will see it differently later.

Details of the front of the aircraft. Notice the more rounded nose of the NDO series.

Side view of the front.

The front of the aircraft

This is the front landing gear when it is out and on the ground.

This is how the back landing gear looks like when it's down.

This is the front of the new system with the landing gear folded in for flight mode.

This is how it looks when it's folded in.

The wheel sticks out a little, but it's still much better than before.
This is how it looks from underneath when up for flight.
And a dark imagine of it down.
The NDO is fitted with Europe+ 2.0, which gives our customers better service in business class for our long trans-atlantic flights.
Here the seat is up and the passenger can enjoy his meal with the tray table up
Here you can see the two business class seats on board this aircraft.
After his meal, our customer might want to lie down and sleep, this is how the seat looks in sleep mode.
Or he might want to enjoy a snack but still have the seat way back. All is possible with Europe+ 2.0
He can enjoy a large selection of movies, games, tv shows, music and more on his large personal TV.
This is the economy section of the aircraft. It fits four passengers.
Economy class also has a large PTV for a fun flight.
Like an aircraft ought to have, the NDO has a cockpit. A320s are Fly-by-wire, and the NDO is no exception. Our pilots enjoy the large screens, which can give them all the information they need.
Like all airbus aircrafts, the NDO is controlled by a joystick.
Look at our captain, he loves to fly on this aircraft!
Details of the fly-by wire.
And a top view of the cockpit.
===================
Here are pictures of our first NDO design. You will get details on the aircraft from these pictures. The only important difference is the absence of a retractable landing gear:
Here is the new tail design for the A320 family, it's much nicer, and more realistic
The plane has emergency exits over the wings. Also notice with wingtip fences that come on A320s (until future sharklets)
The wingtips fences were put back a little to give it a more realistic effect.
Here is the best part, the back landing gear, demonstrated on the next few pics
The door opens,
Here it is with the doors open,
The landing gear go in,
And the door closes, simple, easy and realistic (thank you gravity)
Here is how it looks with the landing gear in,
Landing gear door open,
And landing gear down and locked.
The front of the plane, with one of the doors
The plane with a 757 behind it
Here it is next to a B757, to show you the differences between the two. Notice the more rounded nose of the A320 compared to the one of the 757.
The plane taking off in the sunlight
Here it is taxiing
Still taxiing
The back of the plane
The back of the plane
This is the whole plane, nice little machine
Tail section
Top view with the doors open
Details of the exits. The door has a clear stud for the "window"
And the over wing emergency exits. The Airbus A320 has 4 of these, two on each side.
A real A321 of Turkish airlines taking off, the back landing gear doors are clearly visible on this picture

Love it, but nose gear is supposed to fold forward.
I know, but I had to settle with this because it would then be too far back on the fuselage in the other case. It the same for the main landing gear that folds towards the cabin and not towards the front like in my creation. But it was either this little mistake or no landing gear, so rather this :) |

That's your best plane in my opinion. The gears make it very realistic. And a quite interesting system(i never think about using droid arms ...) |
