During the reign of shadows,Vortahk and the other remaining Makuta,tried to escape the Matoran universe.After Teridax was defeated by mata nui,Vortahk Found a strange mask.after he put it on his armor turned black and he became more powerful,the remaining makuta fled the matoran universe andfled to a nearby island.There a few Matoran and Agori settled.He equipt himself with new armor,attacked the air village on the island as an act of vengeance,Fused one of the Matoran(Electriod) with a mutated venom eel,and turned another Le-Matoran into a
Shadow Matoran.Vortahk is currently somewhere near the island plotting an attack.
