Just a little MOC-off with Sub-Culture. Best of luck to you, friendo.
About this creation
Category: Science Fiction Apocalypse.
Opponent: Sub Culture
CAUTION, contains lengthy back story leading up to the creation of this MOC. When I went to Sub Culture and challenged him to a MOC-off, I was faced with two problems. One, you can't beat him. Two, what the hell was Sci-fi apocalypse? What caused me to pick THAT as the category? What, because it sounded interesting? Yep.

Frustrated that I couldn't come up with any kind of idea (except for some kind of War of the Worlds diorama, but the rules clearly stated that I couldn't use anything bigger then 16x16) I started looking through my vast array of sci fi movies (Starwars, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, the new Startrek movie...) yet I did not find any kind of inspiration. Then, there it was, like some kind of Godsend, the movie "9." It is apparently about some ragdolls that come to life and fight the remaining rouge robots that helped destroy a world much like our own, only it is post WWI looking.

So then it hit me. Really, I was watching it and my sister hit me with the box. Then, I got the idea. I decided to build some kind of small robot tank that was controlled via camera mounted on top of the turret. In the distance, one can see destroyed buildings. Yeah, forced perspective.

The tank...

The camera...

The empty vignette, complete with corpses and mud. And screaming and death, but that is more into the burning city.

...And of course, the burning city.

Hope you enjoyed the moc, please comment and rate.

Nice - I actually can see the inspiration for this one (really liked the movie "9"). I'll chime in a bit more over on the advice thread, but meanwhile, solid build!

Quoting Legofreak2444 ~ Awesome vig! Love the tank but if this is miniscale, why is there a minifig sized skull there?
The tank isn't supposed to miniscale, it is just supposed to be a small robot tank made from scrap material (notice the post apocalypse colors on it.)
