The theme is 'multi-limbed titan'.
Now to the moc! For this round I decided to make a giant alien tripod, why not?
I've wanted to get rid of that huge annoying wheel for so long now and this weird build theme was a perfect opportunity.
The 'head' took the longest to make, but I really do like how it turned out. The legs, I admit, were pretty rushed but they do the job fine.
I would have liked to show you all how I made the head but it is way to hard for me to get a good picture of the inside.
Anyways, this is Seeker, a giant tripod from somewhere out in deep space.
He/she/it/whatever is used to search new or interesting planets for intelligent life.
Its three legs make for a stable platform on which the head can swivel and scan the land.
Despite its menacing size and bizarre looks the Seeker is quite harmless.
Its origins are unknown and no one is entirely sure whether it is living or not.
One of these creatures/machines have been found buried under the ground of Mata-nui. So far it has been kept secret but the Turaga are already trying to find out how it works, through experiments and such.
Over time some great new technologies may be discovered by studying this tripod. Let’s just hope none of his bigger buddies come looking for him...
Thanks for looking!
This moc has been ready for three days now and I have only just been able to post it XD (due to exams and such) but on the + side I did do well in those exams!
Good luck Cheesy Q and all others participating in the BBOA! I hope you've all had as much fun as I have building for this theme.
Quoting Felix the Cat
I really like the fact that although the theme was 'titan', you went with something completely unexpected. The outcome is great! Has a slightly War-of-the-Worlds feel to it (but I guess that was probably the intention) :P. Neat MOC, and good luck in the contest!
Thanks, I've been wanting to make a tripod for a while now and I was ready to take any excuse to do so :)

Harmless, apart from the human disintegration lazers. Yep. Tripods need more publicity! More than just this guy is giving them, I mean - I see what you meant about the legs, but the head design far overpowers that. The sloping plates and the exposed... thingy are really well done. Doesn't make me doubt for a moment that I'm looking at something really alien.
Quoting Doc. Jared (doing exams)
BTW, what exams? Which ones? I just finished biology, foundations, french and Latin this week... glad to hear you did well!
I had science, english and health exams. On tuesday I've got advanced maths, history and commerce and some others on wendsday (can't remember what though)... *sigh*
