Brickateague Island National Seashore
About this creation
I wanted to design a beach moc as a kickoff to the start of summer since its most peoples favorite place to be. When thinking about how I would design this beach I thought a lot of my favorite beach: Assateague Island National Seashore. This beach has a small beach house which contains a few beach shops and a place to get changed into your swim gear. For my beach shop I decided to add a roof terrace for folks to eat outside in the warm ocean breezes. There is also a small food stand outside the beach shop serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, crab soup, and cold drinks. You can either go through the beach house to get to the beach or walk along a path to the side of the house. There are also plenty of places to go camping and to see the local wildlife. Like most beaches there are lifeguards on duty during most of the day waiting to save any helpless soul who needs saving.

I like the gift shop! Nice build over all, well thought out and the action sequences add to the overall rather than detract. Sweet!

This is almost completely perfected, although the curves on the roof don't appeal to me.

WOW this is weird but there's a beach in Rode Island that looks kind of like this, Sandhill cove (at least that's what I call it).Nice Creation!!!!!

Very cool! The tide effect looks great, and an excellent job on the parking lot! Also, exactly how many minifigures did you have to use?

Great MOC, particularly enjoy all of the fine details; Hot-dog vendors, the sand castles... One question, it looks like you shot those photos inside a soft box like setup... would you mind sharing a little about that? It is a product or your own solution? - thanks and again, great build.
