This is my first MOC and I started building it after a lot of trial and error and 2-3 prototypes, which included a rear-wheel drive truck with a 4-speed manual gearbox, I finally decided how the truck should come out and then it was built the way you see it.

The 4WD system is very simple and consists of a transfer case, driven by 1 PF XL motor, and two driving axles. The first transfer case, the one used in the video, used two 8-tooth gears and proved to be very unreliable so it was replaced with a much stronger version.
The off-road performance is very good but only on ice and snow, on anything else, the transmision tends to break or the gears in the axles slip.
The truck features front and rear pendular suspension, each with 2 shock absorbers. Due to stability problems the front axle had to be locked in place, but this is compensated by the fact that the rear axle has a high degree of articulation. Both front and rear axles use a modified version of Sariel's 3 studs wide differential bracings.
The other important feature of this truck is the tipping bed, which can be tipped almost 70 degrees although with a small load only because the Linear Actuator is mounted very close to the rotation point of the tipping bed.
Other features of the truck are the front and rear working lights, the V6 engine with fan, which is driven by its own PF M motor. Also the cab can be tipped to reveal the engine and the doors can be opened, but the interior has a pretty basic design.
The last feature is the use of Ackermann steering geometry, which doesn't really help but it was the easiest way to build the steering.
