The rides.
About this creation
934 km of roads trough Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany & Denmark lay between our home and Legoland. Eleven hours of traffic separates us from Izegem and Billund. It was all worth the ride. This is a journal of our trip to the birthplace of the brick, between the second and the fifth of June 2011. We had an awesome time. This should reflect that feeling. Hope it catches on you…
This last part contains pics of huge Lego sculptures and entertainment rides I didn't want to keep from ya.

At the sea life center where real underwater life meets the Atlantis theme.

The water canon fun at the Pirates island was awesome, awesome, awesome...

This one instantly reminded me of Mark Kelso. No, don't ask.

It is kind of surprising that the theme park has a ride for every theme, even Bionicle and Fabuland. Except Space. No Space police, not any Tron, not even the classic space. None. Very weird...

The Lego shop and Pick a Brick. In one word: heaven.

The result was inevitable...

A peek at the Lego factory. A guided tour in there is for the lucky few. Hope to be one of them someday.

Happy faces on the way back home, we sure had a blast!

Goodbye Denmark, we will meet again...

Giovanni. I was there in 1994. In 17 years it seems that the experience has not changed even if some of the details have. The giant bricks in the grass in front of the factory were there though! Great post. Congrats to the boy for winning the MOC competition...twice! Attack! |

Fantastic. I really want to visit Legoland again... And I think I know why LEGO is so expensive now- 90% of it is in Legoland! Selfish builders :P |

Themes of classic space or space at all is a very most wanted thing to have in legoland. Even back in the days where classic space was on the shelves they didn't even concider it. It has allways been big sculptures and cities. It's such a shame, especially now a days, where Starwars is the best theme combined to space. I'm gonna visit Legoland during my summer vacation and is looking forward to the pick-a-brick walls, it's gonna be empty when I leave it:-) |

Quoting Mister Bones
OH, that PAB Wall.....The Egyptian builds and the skull island were just sweet! However, I think you need a PG rating on this because you have a naked woman's photo in there....yeah, PG rating, defiantly PG rating. ~UC
Actually, it's a toothless pirate. Heck, that's even worse! |
