Introducing another fine product from MiniCON, specialty manufacturers of CONsiderable repute!
About this creation
The MiniCON Tyrell UltraLite
In today's highly competitive market of spaceship builders, many companies find themselves in a struggle for survival against the big players in the shipbuilding industry. For those that have not fallen by the wayside, they resort to unscrupulous business tactics to survive.
One such company is MiniCON. While its parent company BigCON competes in the capital ship business, MiniCON targets low-cost, budget personal ships. In collaboration with shady OEM manufacturers of dubious quality, MiniCOn has gone ahead to forge a business story of ill-repute. They buy out spare parts at bargain basement prices from the various OEM manufacturers, and mix and match them to assemble one-man space craft in third world planets for equally shady buyers, mostly in the space pirate, gun-runner, smuggler and tyrant business.
As a result of buying one-off supplies of limited parts, MiniCON is usually only able to manufacture one to several units in each model line, and their ingenious sales division markets this as a strong selling point - that their ships are "hand built" and "individualised", and are "rare" as production does not usually extend beyond a dozen ships per model...riiighht....let's see how the owners manage to settle spare parts and maintenance later on.
The Tyrell Ultralite is the latest in MiniCON's lineup...it's fast, it's compact, it's eCONomical and CONsiderate to the environment...it makes a CONvincing buy CONsidering the price :)
That is a gorgeous little ship. Nice shape, and it at least looks durable. I wonder if they would be willing to let me go for a testflight, to see how it well it flies? And if I like it, I'll buy 2. ^Blub^
