On the road to Carvonea, carves a hole in me pocket! WIP 01
About this creation
Ok, so on my introduction post I mentioned that I had almost completed the external wall on the foundation, this is now completed. Added to the assembly is all the internal foundation work, I have also started adding the floor base to work from.
This post shows some of the stages I have gone through getting it to where it currently is. Basically I get up in the morning, drop my fiance at work at 5am, come home and design for 3 hours and then head to my work. While i'm at work I leave the computer to generate a high quality rendered image(3840x2160px). The PC generally takes between 5-8hrs to render a single frame - so this takes time! Once home I look at my new image and get started on adding more parts to the model. When I go to bed I leave the pc rendering another image - which I then look at in the morning :).
There is about 3-5hrs worth of design time in between each image below. Enjoy!
The only thing that guts me at the moment is MOCpages wont support my widescreen images.
This is an image of my BOM so far, add up the parts if you like :D It will get much larger than this... ~Thoy
I have had to start from scratch again... After building some mocks in real lego, I found where I could make a few improvements to my modular design - never fear though cause it will now be even more epic. Will upload some new images shortly - oh yeah, the changes i had to make wont be visible via my images, only via any instructions i post.
