I totally agree with Nick Pascale. We need to honor our soldiers.

Your inactivity in the group 'The Insurrection' is both disapointing and disrespectful. If you wish to continue in the group (building missions, or telling us that you can't buil that week) go to the thread called 'Status Report'. If you don't, you will recieve a dishonorable discharge. You have untill monday.

Simple, but really nice. Also, it's the best possible tribute to every dead soldier who fought for his country. Thumb up!

Quoting Drew Carlson Two problems. One The vietnam war had M-16s not M-1s and also the wwi soldier should be wearing a brodie helmet otherwise nice job
No, they did use M1's in Vietnam. Scroll down and you will see my comment about that. For WW1, I don't HAVE any brodies! Unless of course, you wanted to trade one with me. Sheesh...

Quoting Nick Pascale Yet another positive use for LEGOŽ PATRIOTISM! Well done and timely! You have honored our country and the soldiers who protected it, and died for it! MAY GOD BLESS YOU! I love the fact you kept it simple and listed each mini-figure and the war(s) they represented!
Thank you! :) <><

Well done. Some landscaping would have helped out the aesthetic part of the MOC, but the message is there.

Nice MOC; though you should make the flag's pole a little bit more thicker, that way the flag isn't bending over slightly to the left in an awkward position; some would call this cheating. Other than that fault, it's pretty nice.

Good work for honouring the soldiers who fought for the freedom that we take for granted today. By the way, where'd you get the body for the modern day soldier?

Quoting LEGO Lord :/ If it is thicker, it looks too thick. It is annoying how it bends over like this.
Quoting Karsten Rees I actually thought about doing that one, but I don't have the right pieces really. Also, I wanted to do ones where the U.S. was fighting others, not itself. :)
Quoting Jacob Adsett The torso if from a Naboo fighter pilot.
Quoting Hun-grr Terrorcon The gear is from http://www.brickforge.com/ and http://www.brickarms.com/Default.aspx If you don't have any, you should get some. I agree that the base is boring, but I had to build it fairly quickly because I entered it in a contest yesterday.

This is a nice little vig. I had relatives in WWII and Vietnam. My great-uncle, who recently went to a better place, I think stormed Normandy. I think I may be wrong on that one. Another of my uncle's was in Vietnam, he worked in the motorpool. There were some of my relatives that were foot soldiers in 'Nam. Love to see some patriotism. God bless the USA.

Quoting Will McDine This is a very touching tribute to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to give us what we have today. One thing I must say (even though it doesn't really make a difference) during memorial day it is proper to better pay even more tribute to the fallen by placing the flags at half mast.
Hmmm, I forgot about the half-mast thing. Our flag outside (The real one) was at half-mast 'till noon.
