No, they did use M1's in Vietnam. Scroll down and you will see my comment about that. For WW1, I don't HAVE any brodies! Unless of course, you wanted to trade one with me. Sheesh...

Two problems. One The vietnam war had M-16s not M-1s and also the wwi soldier should be wearing a brodie helmet otherwise nice job

I do like it! Great flag, and although its a simple build its still good enough for me to rate it 5 stars.

Nice MOC; though you should make the flag's pole a little bit more thicker, that way the flag isn't bending over slightly to the left in an awkward position; some would call this cheating. Other than that fault, it's pretty nice.

Good work for honouring the soldiers who fought for the freedom that we take for granted today. By the way, where'd you get the body for the modern day soldier?

This is a nice little vig. I had relatives in WWII and Vietnam. My great-uncle, who recently went to a better place, I think stormed Normandy. I think I may be wrong on that one. Another of my uncle's was in Vietnam, he worked in the motorpool. There were some of my relatives that were foot soldiers in 'Nam. Love to see some patriotism. God bless the USA.

Hmmm, I forgot about the half-mast thing. Our flag outside (The real one) was at half-mast 'till noon.

This is a very touching tribute to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to give us what we have today. One thing I must say (even though it doesn't really make a difference) during memorial day it is proper to better pay even more tribute to the fallen by placing the flags at half mast.
