About this creation
The T14 'Talon' class medium fighter is the newest fighter to be added to the fleet. Armament-wise, it's not the most impressive ship in existence, armed with 2 large pulse lasers and 2 double light plasma missile launchers. However, it has blistering speeds that are possible with the two huge engines mounted on the frame. Speeds of upto 1750kmh can be achieved, and a 19/20 warp speed rating makes it one of the fastest ships at FTL.
The usual EMF/Ionic shield generators are mounted aboard the vessel, along with dense 3-inch titanium-aluminium armour.
In combat, the speed of the ship makes it easy to outrun opponents and get to a target destination first. It's maneuverability is unmatched, so when in a dogfight, the enemy is undoubtedly going to be floating into space as pieces of smouldering debris. All of these assets make this ship an impressive interceptor.
The pilot sits comfortably in the cockpit, whilst also having enough space behind him to store some cargo.
The ship has an undermounted chaff pod, with 5 cluster chaff pods. Each pod has 10 pieces of magnesium that, when heated, will light up like a flare, attracting enemy missiles away from the ship.

YOU HAD BETTER LIKE THE PHOTO EDITING THAT I DID ON THIS!! Seriously, that took me over an hour for both!! GIMP is very unusual, but I think I have the basics sorted. I'll let you be the judge of the editing skills. Anyway, this fighter is probably one of the best fighters that I've ever done, in my opinion that is. I'll also leave this to you to decide.

Nice overall design with good details. I think the color scheme could use a little more refinement, but overall very cool. Great photography and fx as well. |
