The Capture (Operation Wolf Hole)
This is my entry to the MLRC's Alloy Strike (Militia Squad Mission) Contest.
About this creation

The discovery of recent reconnaissance patrols by an unidentified aggressor has the P.M.S. on high alert. While it would be ideal to capture an officer in the aggressor's force, a low-level minion may be just as beneficial, say, an enslaved scientist who would be willing to buy his freedom.

This brings us to the ghost town of Wolf Hole, Arizona, where the militia’s intelligence unit has pinpointed unusual activity via satellite imagery. The P.M.S. is dispatched to investigate the area and possibly capture an enemy for interrogation.

Meanwhile in an underground, makeshift fuel research lab …

Scientist: Muwahaha! The boss will be happy. This jetpack fuel is like Capt. Jameson on steroids …

Scientist: … Huh, what’s a kitty doing in here? Cute. Here kitty, kitty …

Pvt Morning, Noon, and Night: You called?!?

Scientist: GAHHH!!! It's the P.M.S.!

Captain Daddy: They always fall for the pussycat.

Pvt. Morning: Um, duh, Einstein.

Pvt. Noon: You should talk, Axelrod.

Pvt. Night: Thanks for enlightening us, Brutus.

Captain Daddy: Shut it, tenderloins!

Pvt. Night: Ah, er, you cannot make loins tender even if you had a jackhammer.

Captain Daddy: Grrrrrrr!!!!!

Pussycat: Meow!

Shifo. I just wanted to say thanks for lending your talents to DA. Keith and I were worried about attracting the right players until you showed your evil grinning face. Then we knew we would be in for some prime building. You really raised the bar to the right level. So thanks a lot man. Look for some group type deal next year! And go change your shirt... what is that? Bacon grease on your collar?

Quoting The Pied Pauper $$ This has it all, simplicity, drama, and humor. What more could anyone want? Actually, I want some of those barrels! How many is that?
There are 55 barrels from PaB!

I hope you won't ming that I'm commenting again, but for some reason, this MOC isn't added to the group Metal Legion Recruiting Command. I'm pretty sure Michael won't skipy your entry while judging, but it would be cool to have overview of all entries in one place, so I hope you'll add it. And again, that's one cool and funny MOC. Thumbs up!

Master and Commander Shifu. Your work, as always, delights with it's direct and precise style. You once again squeeze an astounding amount of nuance out of a decidedly minimalist setting (It's like the old Star Trek, where all the planets look like little more than a sound stage, but every adventure is a delight!). The links were an unexpected bonus! Wolf Hole. Who knew? And of course, the use of the kitty was exceptional. Symbolism….yummy. Operation Wolf Hole is one for the Metal Field Manual. Other ML commanders should take note! Another ALLOY STRIKE at the heart of the enemy! Build! Post! Review! Kitty!

Bwahaha, great. Nice to see P.M.S. in action. Somehow I thought (based on the last but one pic) you're going to do something with the cat. Looks like she drank some of the fuel. Good luck in the contest.
