Some large dioramas for the local comic con.
About this creation

Here's a few shots from the larger batch over at Flickr . This is our fourth time at the Twin Cities largest comic convention. They give us some space and some food and we bring some LEGO to show off. We tried for a Western theme this year, along with the usual Micropolis display. Half our group was over at the LEGO Kids Fest so the Micropolis was rather small. We more than made up for it with some large minifig dioramas.

I was joined by Brian, Erik, Gary, Max, Lisa, Roy And Alice. Brian brought a fort and a village, Lisa brought a LaCrosse game with spectators, Roy brought the murals and a mech and a hover car. Lots of people helped build Micropolis, and Max brought the hanging. I brought three dioramas, all are on MOCpages, The Man In The Moat, Song Before Bedtime and The Great Toy Story Train Robbery. Don't tell any one that there are BrickForge centaurs in there. They just are so entertaining. It would be nice if LEGO made their own. I'd get a bunch.

Thanks guys. I didn't make the gallows, that was Max Braun. He's got a great sense of humor. He also make the evil villians lair sitting on a rock out int he bay of Micropolis. I thought that was just brilliant. see ya. garth |
