The Spark
Leader of the Andruian Empire.
About this creation
Well, this is... not a first, actually. I've blended Bionicle and mecha before. However, this is far better than that in my opinion. I'm particularly proud of the SNOT techniques I used on the lower legs.

Seventeen years ago, "The Spark" (screen name, real name Henry Black) started the revolution that overthrew the corrupt government ruling over the Earthling colony he lived in. He's a brilliant hacker who managed to crash government computers all over the planet and push forward the truths that the government was hiding from them, exposing all its inner workings. // I used an unusual Bionicle/Technic frame and covered it in System. Of course, since it's an Andruian MOC, it has some exposed mechanical bits (gray cones). The use of the Vahki heads and Bohrok head frames are both something I've never seen before.

He made a laughingstock of the ruling party by spewing huge amounts of anti-government propaganda and posting it on every website in existence. He even managed to get onto live TV for a weekly audio broadcast. Gaining allies quickly, he sparked a revolution by organizing the place's six hundred million people into mass demonstrations. // I didn't spend as much time on the back, but the Inika breastplate is quite effective. I like the head mounting gizmo.

Meanwhile, the government was crippled by their dysfunctional technology. It got so bad, and so violent, that soon after a mob of citizens overpowered the (armed) guards of a large prison and freed its occupants, the government actually surrendered, fearing for their lives. // Those bricks inserted into the back of his arms make them look much more solid, something that many Bionicles lack.

Black agreed to let them flee safely to an allied planet if they gave Andruia its independence. Only then did anybody find out where he was operating from, and he took over the planet and put a capitalist democracy in place. (He is nearing the end of his second, final four-year term now.) // MOVEABLE FINGERS! I came up with this hand design by myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has been done before.

But he knew that other planets had their eyes on Andruia. It with virtually no military was an easy target, ripe for takeover. This simply would not do, so he threw together an army at light speed by doing this: // The Technic gear is attached with two stud-ended pins and a 2-stud axle for stability. It still falls off regularly, though.

Six hundred million people with no allies aren't capable of much in the interstellar sense. So trusting his vast knowledge of computers, Black and a crew of computer scientists began researching mental augmentation [computer] chips. They would hopefully provide the planet's desperate people with an advantage over others. // Note the complex SNOT technique used on the legs.

It worked. All Andruian engineers were then equipped with a relatively simple "bolt-on" chip that complemented virtually every aspect of their brains. After that, they designed an array of weaponry in record time while factories were being built. // Frankly unnecessary top view...

Soon after, the rather small army's soldiers were outfitted with an updated version of the chip. After that, nobody dared pick a fight with Andruia. They had the most efficient, organized army in the business. // Slightly different angle on the SNOT.

Over the years, the software got better and better. Soon, anyone with a chip had, effectively, a basic smartphone attached to his head. The chips were eventually paired with contact lenses that act as heads-up displays and an interface. // More SNOT! And a signature exposed "engine" brick.

It became a topic of debate whether everyone on the planet should be "plugged in", and Black gave it a wholehearted thumbs up by having his brain transplanted into a robotic body. It enabled him to be constantly linked with the Internet and process vast amounts of information, as well as do gazillions of other useful things that I can't be bothered to list. Because of it, he became a far better leader. // Not much more to say about the lower legs, just check 'em out...

He actually has two brains: his old one (actually stored in his chest, where it's less easily damaged) and an array of technology that gives him a simply enormous mental capacity. And the Andruian Congress, after seeing the public's trust in the Spark's actions, passed the bill that made it mandatory for every Andruian to be plugged in at birth. // "We want YOU to join the Andruian Armed Forces!"

Whew. That's the longest back story I've ever written by far! : P

What the heck is going on here? I have no idea where those 160 likes came from... a glitch, probably. I'm pretty proud of this guy, but I'm not going to pretend he deserves 160 likes... Edit: Okay, if you're looking here now, this page briefly glitched out and showed 160 likes. It fixed itself.

Awesome but i think the arms are a little skinny and the legs but over all A++.

Nice. Great torso, maybe a little chubby for him, but have a nice robotic look. The legs are pretty original, and you used system elements quite well. I would suggest a little bigger head and feet, specially the feet.
