Just to let y'all know I haven't abandoned the brick!

About this creation

Lots of works in progress and too little time to work on them! Fortunately, I've collected some WIP pics to show what exactly I've been working on...

These are building stages of a MOC comparison with
Kevin J. Walter . We choose the Wraith Hive ship from the TV series Stargate Atlantis. We agreed on the deadline for this somewhere end of june...

The top surface is coming along nice. But the ship needs a bottom too. I hope I can finish it before I drop out of black!

This is for the Brick Tricks 4 convention in Belgium, next february. It is a collab dio with Matn . I build the Martian tripod and he does the Victorian houses. We are looking for a third Belgian MOCer who could supply a running crowd of minifigs. This is obviously all inspired on the artwork from the WOTW concept album.

And then I am also working on a series of arty Lego sculptures for an exhibition next march. Eight pieces are to be made. This is a first version of "ROOTS".

They all look excellent! I'm in the same boat. Too many WIPs, not enough time to finish them. If I put any more unfinished projects on my shelf, it's going to come off the wall!

Those are all amazing works Gio! I'm really looking forward to the hive ship! Hope Kevin can get his done since he's going to be here in Chicago towards the end of June. Can't wait to see all the finished projects! ~ Chris.

I'm using hinges for the angles, long technic bars to keep it "light" and minifig stands for plating. The main pic shows it best. Good luck with your Hive ship. I'm looking forward to some results!
