I bought some modulex on the internet to add to my LEGO® collection. Time to find out whether it will blend in with the LEGO® city of Kennemerburg.

About this creation

Some information about Modulex, former part of the LEGO® group:

Founded in 1963 by the principal of LEGO. Modulex bricks were a smaller version of the LEGO brick, intended for use by architects to build scale models of buildings. This evolved to planning boards which in the early 70’s led to architectural signage.

The boxes with "LEGO® shaped bricks"
1x1,1x2,2x2,2x4

The large hollow bricks. Pretty breakable for LEGO® standards.

1x1 and 1x2 tiles.

Interesting items... I have no clue what purpose they serve...

All the Modulex inside their original boxes. It doesn't only look vintage, it SMELLS vintage...

The interesting items that you have no clue on; they are "rulers" used to run alongside the outer edges of big baseplates/backplates. -Normally installed vertically on a wall, and used for planning purposes.

Interesting colours. My Modulex bricks are all white or transparent, except for a few coloured sample bricks that the rep gave me when I bought it. You are welcome to join the Modulex Group on MOCpages. Currently we are only two members!

Hi there, Definitely worth all the pain it cost to sort it. It looks really proffessional now in those boxes. I hope you will enjoy those "nottoybricks". But I know that that is not going to be a problem. And if it turns out to be a problem, I am really not going to have a problem with taking that problem out of your hands. Greetings my friend.
