The Light Tank (Airborne) M22 or Locust was an American-designed airmobile light tank which was produced during World War II.
About this creation
Front. A recent build.
Left. I think it came out well.
Back. I could not find a picture of the back, so this is my best guess.
Right. I like it.
The treds, and the beautiful dark bley wheels.
I'm very happy with the body.
The turret, 5-wide!
The Locust began development in 1941 after the British War Office requested that the American government design a purpose-built airborne light tank which could be transported by glider into battle to support British airborne forces.
Very nicely done! You have an excellent building style; it's clean and uncluttered! My only minor suggestion is you might want to add better descriptions to your creations; I would love to hear more in-depth info about your fabulous tanks. Besides that, this is perfect!
WOW! Great historical background, as well as the detail on the sides and treads. The figs for the final picture look really neat and the whole detail on the turret is really cool. It looks so compact, too. My only idea would be to perhaps add some extra detail to the back, supplies or armament just so it doesn't look like a bunch of 2x2 bley grates, which the back of the M22 probobly wasn't. And I know why you couldn't find a picture of the back - no one ever lived long enough after they took the picture of the front! This baby looks like a monster! Great work! 5/5
