Now in brick form, not just LDD.
About this creation
A while back I post my LDD AT-RAV. After I designed it, I went on BrickLink and ordered parts from around Asia to build it. I took forever, because LDD doesn't give you a parts list (sucks!), so I had to go through the building instructions one-by-one and chart all the pieces. Then, I had to search for them on BrickLink in the limited Asian markets, where parts are usually more expensive also.
Finally, I got all the pieces (after redesigning my rotating gun on top because of part unavailability and a better design) and built it. It took several hours, over a couple of days.
I've had it build for a while now, but just kept forgetting to take photos and upload them. (BTW, the photos are from my iPhone, so they aren't the best. Sorry).
So hear it is. Enjoy.

Look storage bins on the side for ammo, lightsabers, Sharpies or whatever. Down a few shots is the driver's door... ajar!

I hope all you elitists who constantly post rubbish like "I don't like LDD" or "It's okay, but it would be cool if you built it with REAL LEGOs" will appreciate it.

I have to agree with leggoboy to be honest... I love your builds, and the power of the computer comes in handy, but nothing really beats the visual, and fisical texture of a good old fashioned brick to brick build.

I really like the look of real LEGO bricks. I guess that shows how much off an old school kid I am. Looks like it can do a lot of damage. Nice. |

Nice creation! I like the shape of it! I don't like mixing phase I clone trooper and phase II clone trooper but it doesn't matter. 5/5
Thanks, I don't have a lot of minifigs, so the phase II fit the best inside. |

It's no a stand-alone program, the program still uses MS Access, which is just avaible for Windows. I don't know if there will be a version for Mac in future, but now there isn't one. Sorry... |

Interesting design. I would change the front cannon, in my opinion it`s not protected and not very movable...
@Andy Larkum:
It's also possible with LDD to make part lists.
You need just a simple program, called 'LDD Manager'. I don't know which features LDraw and MLCad have, but with this program you get full part lists with number, availability and s.o.

Thanks guy, I use a Mac, do these programs work on Macs or are they just PC? |

Nice work JS. I like the functions on this like the opening doors and the rear gunners and the fact that it actually steers. Reading your bit on ordering parts and LDD, maybe you should try MLCAD and LDraw. It's a million times better than LDD, I've used it quite a few times to produce instructions. It is a bit trickier to use than Lego's LDD but once you get the hang of it I can guarantee that you won't go back. The best bit is that it gives you a full parts list with the lego serial numbers which makes it really easy to order from Bricklink, no more trawling through pages and pages to find the right part. |

That came out rad dude! Really this is better than 80 percent of MOC's that come out....actually, probably 90 percent since kids tend to spam their MOCS. Does it have the spongy or independent suspension? It seems that people get more likes on these sorts of things when they display that it has that function, though that may be tough, your Lego situation sounds a bit tricky! See ya around the pages!
Thanks. It doesn't have suspension, but the front wheels do turn, so it is "steerable". Looking at some of the recent forms of suspension if seen on MOCpages, it is hard to create that effect in LDD, so when I designed it, I didn't use those methods, just front wheels that can turn left or right. |

I like the angles and the heavy armored look. Looks like something that would be used in the Clone Wars. |

WOW! Your even a good 'real' LEGO builder! This is awesome, it deserves way more ratings than this!
Thanks, I appreciate it. |

Way to go on this build. I feel your pain. I'm currently ordering parts for one of my builds too. It' a lil painful. This build came out great, all the details and function look awesome. |
