I think the handle is pretty self- explanatory, What I did for the barrel is, I used an bar-insert (the one w. the + shaped hole thru the face, otherwise the barrel will swing around) and stuck a #1* bar into it. There's a solid double-stub ontop, so it won't go all the way thru. I then put a #9* bar thru the 6 tubes, and added those to the bottom of the previous steps' piece. I then took a 7th tube piece an attached that to the end of the other six. (the 7th piece should be at the far end of the barrel) The part behind this section is the 2 tube pieces and a dome cap at he top. Next I took a #9* bar w/ 2 cylinder studs stuck at the end of it. I then inserted this into the 7th tube, until I felt it make contact w/ the other bar already inside. When you are finished w/ the last step, you should have a barrel. You then attach the the #1 bar into the top of the square-joint piece (which should have a cross-hole in the top of it). *The bars have the # printed tiny at the end it them. You'll probably need a magnifying glass to see it. I hope this helps you. I'm not very good at Lego terms, or explaining things, but good luck. =)
