It continues. Not as dramatically as before, but it still continues. Give it a while.

About this creation

Smith: tries to laze the infantry. Misses. Wouldn't have got more than one or two of them anyway. Finn: relieves ThunderTOD of a third of his left-torso armour. The infantry: maul Deus's left torso frame very thoroughly, rip off much of his left-torso-rear armour, and destroy his left-hand missile launcher. Which, incidentally, means there's 30 missiles sitting in the ammo chain that can't be disposed of. Not without dumping all of the missiles, anyway. They also hit him in the center torso, with a couple of shots going through chinks in the armour to render his medium laser useless.

At that point, comrade Petrov woke up.
His machine is sorely wounded, but still combat-ready. Mechae have been overengineered for just this sort of thing for quite a long time.

The two light mechae try to get up.

The Specter fell on its back, but is saved from possible catastrophe by its sturdy rear armour. The Wraith fell on its left side, with severe consequences for the already weakened side armour.

They try again.

This time, the Wraith stays up, but the Specter, undone by its damaged gyro, falls again. This time, it lands on the top of its head, removing all the armour there and injuring the pilot. He's not unconscious, though he might not want to get shot in the head with anything bigger than a small lazor.

The Wraith moves south, the Specter tries again.

And again it falls, this time on its left torso.

Again. And this time, it stayed up!

Yep; rather old one from the eighties that's still going strong. Although the particular rulebook I'm using is older than I am.
