Butterfly knife
A butterfly knife
About this creation
Here is my butterfly knife. Based off the spy's one from tf2 (team fortress 2 for those of you unaware. I works like an actual butterfly knife: two handles attatched to a blade that goes between them or whatever. Its like the real thing. I made two versions. One has a blade, One dosen't.

The one with the blade is a lot rougher to open. But it has two blade attachments. The one in the main picture and the one that shows which way the blade is facing.

Ihe other one has very smooth action.

first open the knife which is self explanitory.

Next flip it upside down. I have the wrong grip in this pic, but its right in the other 2nd steps.

Then flip it up.

This is the faster one.

note the differnet grip

Nothing much to say here.

The orange bit is the blade.

Nothing to say.

you cant see in the pic, but the blade is facing away from my hand.

And close it, with the blade facing up.

Sorry for the poor desription. im gonna make an updated version with better pics and descriptions, credits and more, please comment and tell me what u think

I actually made one similar to yours, but mine has a Bionicle blade and opens and closes smoothly. Good job, though.

Quoting Knoll grey ive made one out of system rather than technic. its not very sturdy though, and cant stand up to high speed spins. i have a metal handled set, a lego set, a paper handled set (indeed paper, stronger than metal too) and a spare blade that im too lazy to make handles for
Paper stronger than metal.. thats interesting. With that spare blade, you could maybe add a lego handles, and it would be the perfect disguise!

Quoting Mr. Penguin Very nice, although I must ask. Can you do the grip/handles with like, 9 hole rod thingys? (sorry for more than a few mistakes)
Thanks! Do you mean make the handles shorter, or use the parts with bricks on top?
