My second movie-car this year. I started this one a few month ago but never finished it.It´s one of my favorite movie-cars ever. The 72 Mustang Grande.A few of you have seen the movie. Death Proof/Thunderbolt.In the movie the front bumper is yellow but i thought it looks better in grey.Hope you like it.

Fantastic model, absolutely fabulous! The colors, the shape, who cares about a grey or yellow bumper, it's good anyway ;-) |

Sweet ride! Although, I´d say a yellow bumper would have looked a little better, because the grill wouldn´t have looed so big and so a little more sporty! Just my personal opinion. Besides that, very well done! ~Cheers! ----- Hast Du die Stossstange mal in gelb ausprobiert? Nichts fuer ungut, wegen der Kritik. Gelb, oder grau, es ist und bleibt eine sau geile Karre! So. Alles Gute und Gruss aus Hessen, Marc.
Danke Marc. Nee,Kritik ist immer gut.Hab natürlich erst in gelb ausprobiert. Sah auch cool aus. Ich mach mal ein Foto mit der gelben Stossstange und dann kannst Du mal für Dich entscheiden.Gruss Patrick |

Great car! btw, where are the trucks... i want to see my stickers!
Hehe, wait till Sunday. Then the first one is done.
I was waiting for bricks i ordered. The stickers are great. What sticker would you use for the yellow one? The blue or black one?I think blue looks better. |

First, this is a great model. You did an excellent job with it. Next, Jesse is completely wrong. I have owned a '73 mustang since I was 16 so I know what I'm talking about. There are two types of '71-'73 Mustangs, fastback and notchback. The Grande is a notchback with a white or black faux leather covered roof. The Mach 1 is a fastback with a painted roof. The one in the movie is just a plain jane notchback with a Mach 1 stripe running down the side to make it look like a Mach 1. Very old trick with these cars. Also, the color coded bumber is an iconic feature of these cars. I think a yellow front bumper would be better and more accurate. Again, nice work. |

Actually, Siddhart, that was a different model Mustang that you're talking about from that movie. If I'm correct, the one in that film was a Mach I as opposed to the standard Mustang, which, ironically, even though that it's supposed to be the more normal model of the Mustang, that is now somewhat harder to find than the Mach I Mustangs. Oh, and by the way, it was a 1973 Mach I, too, I think. |

Truly mindblowing! It looks just like the Mustang from the original H.B. Halicki flick: Gone in 60 seconds. Your model has equal lines to that of those Mustangs and also the 70s models are also my favorites. |
