AEGAKS - DEVIL - BWh 001 XEN-FROST
About this creation
WE INTERRUPT THIS BROADCAST TO ANNOUNCE THAT SHADOWA HEARTFELT IS STILL ALIVE!
YES YOU HEARD US CORRECTLY!
HE HAS TOLD US HE HAD HID HIMSELF AWAY, EVEN FROM HIS TWIN DAUGHTERS IN ORDER TO CREATE THIS MONSTROUS BEAST, THOUGH STILL IN A TESTING STAGE, IT HAS STILL PACKED QUITE A PUNCH ON THE BATTLEFIELDS...

SO, HERE IT IS! WE PRESENT TO YOU!
DEVIL CORPORATION's PROTOTYPE XEN-FROST
eXperimental Ecosystem Nusiance Frozen Robotic Organism Solo/Tandem

Side view, showing the length and height

(just a second picture because I couldn't choose)

The newly designed Tandem Cockpits that are needed to pilot this massive beast on the battlefield.

3/4 view showing the TUNDRAs activated and the ICEBERGS below

Close up of the TUNDRAs activated
(Terrain Upheaval Nexis Driven Robot Armament)
The TUNDRA fires a barrage of missles, not at the enemy, but at the ground, destroying the ground between the equipped mech and the enemy, giving the user a tactical advantage over their enemy.

The Tandem cockpits opened at the same time (don't you think this looks somewhat like a Hercules Beetle?)

The SAFER ejected, currently, this form is known as ARCTIC HUNTER
Hunter Unit Nexis Turret Engaging Robots
The HUNTER can stay on the battlefield for a prolonged time without the SAFER as the main energy source comes from the ARCTIC unit attached on the rear.

Top view of the HUNTER without the SAFER attached

Showing the SAFER unit ejected from the HUNTER

SAFER's TUNDRAs extended for flight
the TUNDRAs are not only built for attack when opened, but when closed, and separated from the XEN-FROST, the thrusters activate, and the TUNDRAs can act as a propulsion system to carry the SAFER a safe distance from the battlefield to be picked up to return to base.

SAFER's TUNDRAs closed and in Pod mode

Powered by the ARCTIC system

MANTIS pod with ICEBERG cannons
Manned Aerial Nexis Turret Integrated Server
The MANTIS can hover and fire frozen particle lasers at it's targets to "freeze" them in place.

SPIDR, MANTIS, and SAFER
COMBINATION SEQUENCE ENGAGED!!

The dual radome's on the back rotate

MANTIS pod attaches to the radomes to form ARCTIC HUNTER mode

SAFER combines HUNTER to form XEN-FROST
COMBINATION SEQUENCE COMPLETED!
MANAS (black head/white body) and his "friend" XAVIR (yellow head/brown body) standing infront of XEN-FROST
MANAS(Multiple Armored NEXIS Autonomous Server)
XAVIR (eXperimental Autonomous Variable Intelligent Robot)

AND THIS IS THE END OF OUR "WELCOME BACK" PARTY FOR MR. SHADOWA HEARFELT.
HEAD DESIGNER AND THE PRESIDENT OF DEVIL CORPORATION.

Quoting Marcus Jackson The mech itself is okay, but the legs bother me a bit, not sure why. Another place to improve would be photography. ways to improve would be photoshopping the backround out and making it white, or using white paper as backround, because sheets are uneven as a surface and therefor are lit differently in different places. But if you fix that, I'm sure it would make this really stand out.
Thank you for the advice. Though this build hasn't been around in quite some time...and really, I don't think I'll be bringing this back.

Quoting J. R. Mac Nice build! This is cool; I see what you mean this is a great counter to my Shadow Stalker.
Yep. Robots always build for assault and hardly ever for defense. Which XEN-FROST can do both. Strafing like a spider jumping around for basic defense. And when there's no hope, twin ejection pilot blocks, and the SPIDR could relay back to base their SOS while fighting off the drone's trying to follow them back. And any drone's on the way would be frozen or just shot to pieces with the 2 pilot blocks and their weapons. Thanks for unknowingly building XEN-FROST's rival. XD

Quoting Acsel Of Darkness Awesome Moc, I feel the same about bionicle parts, even though they usually solve very complex problems. Nice to see you're trying to reply to everyone, again, I do the same. Keep up the epic Mocing!
Thank you. And I think after the water bionicle sets, it got kinda crappy.

Quoting crash 703 Wow! That's awesome! Although maybe if you added this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=47300 to the legs it would look a little better.
Thanks for that bit of advice, though I've shied away from using bionicle pieces in use of LEGO mocs. Yes, I know Bionicle is a part of LEGO, but personally, mixing the two together doesn't appeal to me. It's something about the smoothness of most bionicle pieces that turns me off of using them (and I've lost or misplaced the majority of mine since childhood). But Thank you for checking this out.

Quoting Robert Garside I like this a lot! But it looks like it needs some sort of "tail"
I was kinda thinking of making a "tail", but then I thought about the design of the SPIDR and didn't build it because there wasn't really anything to do with it after they separated.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Very interesting to see a tandem system. I rather much like the concept as you've presented it. It does need some clean up and some polish, but otherwise, good. Oh, by the way, just thought to ask, but you really like making acronyms? ^Blub^
Thank you. I thought it was time to make a change in the usual designs of an AEGAKS / mech. As for the acronyms, they kinda help me decide on what kinds of descriptions to give for certain parts of a moc. other than just saying, this is a cannon, or this is a gun, I like to think it has more purpose than that. Or if it's a power system or an intelligent robot, to give it something other than a name.
