Powered by the HELIOS fan on the ATLAS, the LONGSHOT does just as it's name claims.
LONGSHOT cannons fire multiple ion cannon rounds a rough distance of just over a quarter mile across the battlefield.

Personal Impact Long-range Explosive Device Rotary Ion Vertical Empathetic Robot-killer
These cannons fire single Ion laser beams, meant to destroy the land around/in front/behind a target, causing a blast explosion to block the other pilot's field of vision and causes them to fall into the pit, trapping them and letting the pilots live.

ATLAS is capable of being modified to fit other mechs, and will let a non-piloted mech take the place of those with pilots to act as decoys.
