Mars OutPost
A small spin off on the classical Mars Mission Theme lego had a while back... with a little story of Astronaut with a southern accent, Enjoy!
About this creation
Ahh.. the crystal... only on of the greatest finds in the world since LEGO.
Sorry if i haven't properly introduced myself, I'm Astronaut Wayne and I'm stationed near Borealis basin in Mars. Why is the crystal so important you ask? Well you see this good for somethin' crystal produces a high amount of energy... Hence it's name "The Energy Crystal"

You see, the bad thing about a crystal is that it is highly unstable... so what do we do? We put into a cell! And not just any cell... Our scientist carefully place into a ECC (otherwise know as a Energy Crystal Cell) and trust me.. these things Pack a Punch... If you know what I mean

*sigh* well here I am...

holding this highly radioactive crystal.. Thank god i have this nonradioactivepenetrating suit

Talking about suits.... I better power up this bad boy...

Oh.. here you go.... This guys (ECT's) or (energy crystal transporters) take this lil guys to our motherbase.... The OutPost

And this container holds the crystals till one of dem spaceships flys down to get dem

Well here's Rick, a valuable member of our team.. of course if it wasn't for him and his new age gizmo we'd never find dem crystals!

Hahaha...funny thing about this guy.. so you see, we thought it was just some crystal carved alien.. but ahh was the joke on us.. this lil bugger jumped up and tried to get us! Thank God rick slammed it with his crystal detector.

I'd think we be lost with this lil fella... our communications dish.. it "ET's Phone homes" us back to motherbase Earth

Well thats that... the journey of a crystal! Till next time fellas

The Drill

some of our fancy gizmos

Stereoscopic Vision (believe me you want to try it)

and of course...see it on Flickr

I'm a bit late for the party, but thanks to the last Space Shuttle mission I'm more into NASA/space stuff again. Building near future space technology in back and white is always for the win (in my opinion). Bravo!
