Chevrolet Express Paramedic Ambulance SDMSE
Here is a model from the San Diego Medical Services Enterprise. Itīs a Chevrolet Express Paramedic Ambulance. The front was a bit challenging due to the head lights in reality they are round, but if you go 6 wide than you have to come up with another idea, so I decided to fall back half a stud to create the shape of the original as best as I could to get it round
About this creation

Here you can see the inside of the ambulance, on the left side you got an orange backboard it is used whenever a spinal injury is suspected, when you go right you got a defibrilator, then a I.V. holder, then you got some compartments for bandages, syringes and the like, again some compartments the black thing hanging there is actually a resuscitator, the paramedics seet, the stretcher, a case with medical supplies, then you got a tan coloured large seet for the paramedic to sit while working on the patient.

The same as above only with the female paramedic sitting in her chair.

Here is the passenger side of the ambulance, on the left side just over the exhaust pipe is a door to put some gear in it obviously there isnīt much space inside the only thing I could put in there was a orange 2x1 tile, you got the new SDMSE logo and a large train door.

The back side is pretty standard alot of flashing lights, the doors actually opens but due to the sticker that says SAN DIEGO FIRE-RESCUE it stays shut and obviously the stretcher wouldnīt fit through.

The drivers side of the Ambulance from the left just behind the cab you got a door to put in some gear Iīve put a panel behind the door to get some extra space but I donīt know what to put in there the backboard was an option but itīs to high (2x6 orange plate) perhaps I will put some oxygen bottles in there, on the right just over the exhaust pipe you got another door same as on the passenger side Iīve put a orange 2x1 tile.

The roof is made out of white tiles and trans brown tiles for the windows, the light bar if you look close (sorry for the poor picture quality) stands out just half a stud just like on the real truck, each trans red respective trans clear tile is individually held by a 2x1 plate with a stud in the middle. I have used silver stickers for the bumpers, the sides and the back of the ambulance, also red and white stickers for the roof of the cab and the side stripes.
Hope you all like my moc and will leave some comments. Thanks for watching:-)

Quoting James Keatley really amazing i love the interior detail and the front chevy badges the spineboard storage and stuff is really nicely done.
Hi James thank you for your comment, I'm glad to read that you like the spineboard, most of the mocs I've seen didn't have such a crucial detail it's standard in every ambulance, the interior is based on what I suppose to be in a US Ambulance because I didn't find any pictures of this particular ambulance, so I'm always trying to make it accurate. Kindest regards. Antonio

Quoting Paulo Rodriguez Nice job on the medic i really like the interior not alot of medics have such a great intirois, pluse i love the striping did you buy it like that? or did you make it? again like i said fantastic medic unit i would love to build something like this but maybe in seven wide.-Paulo R.
Hi Paulo thank you for your comment I really do appreciate. Well I did the striping by myself using white stickers which are basicaly used by electricians (took it from the work desk from one of our mecanics at the station(but don't tell anybody ;-) ) and also thin red and medium Silver stickers which I bought at a car supply store. The whole thing is my own creation I rebuild actually always fire and medic related vehicles, since age 4 I always liked Lego fire cars and stations. When I got an idea of a vehicle that I would like to rebuild in minifigscale then I use to google search for pictures. You definitly should build a medic in 7 wide yes go for it and feel free to use some ideas of mine. I'm looking forward to see a medic unit of yours.Kindest regards. Antonio
