Makes sense, but there are problems that BZP doesnt have, mainly you get more constructive critisism on BZP (and flickr *hint hint*). But yeah it is nice that generall you get more comments here then on BZP, im not really sure why. I guess its comment quality vs comment quantity.

That's true. It's actually much more convenient to upload directly to MOCpages than to upload individual pictures to Brickshelf and then link from BZP. That and people actually seem to notice my creations here - my past 2 topics on BZP have gotten 1 reply each.

Oh, that actually wasn't the reason why I chose those colors. Black as a structural color was a given (that's obviously one of the few colors many of those small Technic pieces come in), and I used yellow just because I had the right pieces I wanted in yellow (the double sockets and the armor piece at the top of the torso). But you're right, it does sort of look wasp-ish...

Why is it that when we think of an insect, we always choose the wasp or bee color pallette? I think this looks really good, I like the legs. I tend to like Bionicle MOCs because I never have really made one. I don't have hardly any of the sets. Anyway, great work, and also the mandables give it a real insect charm.
