A fast graceful starfighter armed with one blaster cannon on the front of the ship. These starfighters are only piloted by the best pilots because there is only one blaster.

I realize the gun would shoot up the nose but let's just say the gun is in the safety position and raises up when it is ready to shoot.

Nice sleek shape, but that blaster amkes the apropriate text "a few shots into the nose" instead of "a few shots of the nose".
