If I were you, I would do two things to your Flip Car. The first thing that I would do is to make it more aerodynamic. Although I haven't seen many examples of flip cars, what I do know about them is that they're usually very aerodynamic and, thus, able to flip easily into their second form. The second thing that that I'd do to this flip car is to put in some sort of remote control system that LEGO has (that is, if TLG actually DOES make such a system or kit) which would be an infrared sort of control system, similar to what you'd find on non-LEGO flip cars. Other than those two things, I say that you have a pretty good MOC there, sir.
A control system? In such small building space? I'd love to see you take on that challenge and post it in the contest!

I'm sure there's a joke in here somewhere about what to do with your wife, but I'll leave that one alone for the time being. Great concept Gio and good luck with the contest! ~ Chris. |

This is a fantastic idea! looks really cool and i would love to build one and add it to your group. Let me know when you create it and i will get creating. I've got a massive project on at the moment involving my 1:18 concept cars. Take a look if you could :) Really cool creation! Good work
Sounds really cool, dude! Show me your version of a Flip car here: http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/16735

In my own opinion, You should use a 2x2 flat swivel so you could just use one license plate instead. The Theorem: If you flipped it, the same license plate would be readable, because the gravitational pull would force it to swivel around. |

brilliant, the moment I saw the invite of the contest saying 'flip car' I knew what you were talking about, I had one myself a long time ago, great idea for a moc.
btw, are you coming to Brickmania ? (in wetteren volgende week)
heh, thanks. Unfortunately, I'm not coming. Life gets in the way, as usual. Have a good time, Seb!

It must be uncomfortable for the operator who is upside down at any given time. Speed bumps must also be terrifying! Two cars at once. You save space in the parking lot. Attack! |
