For those of you unfamiliar with the happenings on Design by Me, a game called "war world" exists that is somewhat of a roleplaying war game. This system was intended to change that and make it more of a digital turn based table top game, however the moderators didn't allow any of my posts on it to pass, so I've brought it here to try and give it some new life.
About this creation
OK fellas, here's the cheat sheet for unit values (the LDD file at the bottom is actually a txt document). I'll have a few other posts with examples of units as well as the unit card and how to use it.

EDIT: it won't let me attach txt files, so I just copy-pasted it here:
EDIT: Allot of new stuff introduced, check the Unit Values Sheet closely
EDIT: I forgot to mention, the total stat points you guys use for a unit should be multiples of 5 for easy conversion to CR.

All Units:
-Range is 4X it's normal value (1 stat point = 4 studs)
-Movement speed is double it's normal value (1 stat point = 2 studs)
-Health/Armor is double it’s normal value (1 stat point = 2 health)
-Command Resource (CR) usage is equal to the total number of stat points used,
divided by 5
-Production cost of unit equal to CR usage X2
-Max victory pins: 5 (1 victory pin awarded to a unit if it survives a fight)
-Victory/Bonus pins worth 1 stat point each

Ground Units:
-Battlegroup Available CR: 80
-Movement per turn on strategic map is equal to battlegroup's
slowest unit movement speed X2 (units on the strategic map is stud by stud)

Light Units:
-Total available stat points: 10 - 20
-Construction Vehicles may not have Attack points
-Light Artillery: Must have the “Long Range” ability
-Command Resource Usage: 2 - 4

Heavy units:
-Total available stat points: 25 - 40
-Artillery: Must have the “Long Range” ability
-Anti-Aircraft: Must have the “AA Weapons” ability
-Command Resource Usage: 5 - 8

Super Heavy Units:
-Total available stat points: 50 - 65
-Movement speed must be it's lowest value
-Command Resource Usage: 10 - 13

Ultra Units:
-Total available stat points: 120 - 150
-Movement speed must be it's lowest value
-limit 1 per Battlegroup
-Command Resource Usage: 24 - 30

Gunship Units:
-Total available stat points: 20 – 30
-Must have the “Flight” ability
-Command Resource Usage: 4 – 6

Heavy Gunship Units:
-Total available stat points: 40 – 50
-Must have the “Flight” ability
-Movement speed must be it’s lowest value
-Command Resource Usage: 8 - 10

This is almost guaranteed to change before the final version, but we gota work the kinks out first. The bottom attached file is some of my faction's basic ground units as examples of about what size your units should be for each class. They are presented in the order (from left to right) of Light, Heavy, Heavy artillery, and Superheavy. I have created an ultra unit, but it's not for my faction. *SPOILER ALLERT!*

I'm interested. What do I need to know?

Quoting JakTheMad JTM Just got to ask something. Will we have to defend like fortresses or houses while we fight?
Not yet, but when we start testing the strategic aspect of the game, you very well could have structures to defend.

Quoting Bryce Klein. (Brickbrycebrick Hey one thing, the ultra units are just so powerful I mean that the other units have no chance against it, it would have to be one big battle for one to come in play. So I think we should play a amount of troops before you can play a ultra or a certen amount of spaces on the map.
Yes ultras are definitely game changers. We wont be playing with them just yet though. I've already added the 1 per Battlegroup Limit, but even just one poses an incredible threat. They may be nerfed, or may have more limits on their stats placed or something, but in the end the intention is still for it to be an all powerful super unit. But technically thats not even the biggest unit you can make....

Quoting JakTheMad JTM Should we make real-size models first, then make those mini? Or can we go straight to minis?
No go strait for minis. You can create a minifig scale version if you wish, but is unnecessary and isn't required for the Tactical Combat System. Minis are better for this because it means we can field more units without our computers dying trying to render it all (the map size itself is pretty big as it is and can be a bit taxing depending on what your running. If it gives you a problem turn compatibility mode on about half way. It may lagg, but your less likely to crash that way).

Quoting Andrew (bioengineerer9179) Nice vignette, a bit confusing, but I think it's got possibility. I'll definitely participate in this. Going to work on some mini-models!
I know its allot to take in at first but trust me it should play out pretty well. I don't want a complete lack of rules like war world's "combat system" if that even exists at all. And the vignette is actually a sample of what a TCS map will look like, all of the map tiles including the farm looking stuff are existing tiles that can be used in the map creator.

Quoting Bryce Klein. (Brickbrycebrick Well my computer is mac so its very safe not to get a computer virus, so a few things wont work I mean I can down load on DBM or LU But when I Press download on here it has a bunch of numbers, a few letters and mostly these weird things I cant understand, I don`t know I might figure it out.
That's weird... Well I'm afraid that your going to have a very difficult time participating in the testing if you can't get this straight because when we start doing battles you're going to need to download the map after each player's turn to take your turn.. If you want post your email somewhere on our group discussions and I can e-mail stuff to you there, but I would still try and fix this if I was you. I cant be any help since I don't know MACs.
