My 6th alternate model of Creator set 5867 Super Speedster. This Street Rod is somewhat in between a Hot Rod and a Street Buggy.
About this creation
From all my 5867 alternates this is probably the most complicated and most unusual build. Most is built sideways or upside down to be able to get the interesting shapes and details.
An overview picture taken from the back left, showing that it also has a control panel.
It was not easy to get a nice flowing line from front to rear.
An overview from the top. Interestingly no visible studs on the top, but only on the side.
The grill and the lights give it the appearance of a classic car.
As with many Hot Rods it has a big and curvy rear.
This car has a very low profile, so be careful with bumps.
A forced perspective shot with focus on the engine. However this makes it impossible to see that the rear wheels are actually further apart than the front wheels.
Bottom view which clearly shows the difference. The wheelbase goes from even to odd number, another unusual detail together with the studs here facing downwards.
Now again from the top, but this time without forced perspective. The seats are separated by an odd number as well.
Still using parts of this set, it's also possible to make this colour scheme instead.
Crazy model! Do not try to build this at home folks...

I'm speechless. The number of great alternate model you build with that single creator set is really impressive. It looks as good as an official lego model. Really creative use of parts. |

Very cool. Looks like one of those cool concept cars you see at any auto show that, unfortunately, never gets made. |
