Animal show at the Lego Festijn 2012 in Goes. Watch the Dutch and African species. Between our own creations, you also will discover great Lego sets. Look at our robot animals, they move like real ones!
About this creation
This animal show consist out of different displays, each with another topic:
Dutch Pasture
A typical Dutch landscape with sheep and swans. Created in Belville scale (1:25). The tree in the middle is from the Medieval market village (Lego set 10193).
A country girl visits her sheep together with her dog.
A naughty lam is eating poppy flowers (left photo). The Mute swans (Cygnus olor) are desperately in love and stick together for the rest of their life (right).

Lego Events
Our animal show was presented during the Lego Festijndag 2010 in Hardenberg, the Netherlands. An event organized by De Bouwsteen, a club of Dutch Lego fans. It was also demonstrated at Brick Mania 2011 in Wetteren, Belgium. This event was organized by BeLUG, a club of Belgium Lego fans.
The photo on the right shows the play field for the moving animals.
The duck family and the bad rat
The ducks and the rat look and behave like real animals. They are made in true scale (1:1). Watch the video to see what happens.
The White Duck
A robot animal created with Lego Mindstorms.
A farm and beautiful design studio at the same time. You will discover cows, pigs and other animals in the yard. The tractors are taken from existing Lego sets. Inside and outside of the farm, all kind of cute & funny situations occur, see Modern Farm.
Please enjoy our world of animals!

cool but why dont you use minifigures
Hi Austin, Thanks for your comment! We like to build in different styles and sizes. So we don't always use minifigures. However the "Modern farm" has lots of minifigures.

Hey Vuurzoon's ;)
I've seen your creation in Wetteren and hey - I was impressed!
I think it's one of the best robotics/classic building combinations I've seen so far...
Congratz!! MOOOI WERK!
Next time don't steal my present during the game ;))
Hans
Hi Hans,

Excellent stuff!
Bit by bit:
When I saw the Belville Girl and the Sheep I first thought of "Mary had a little lamb..." and the swans reminded me of "the Ugly Duckling"!
But the exhibit wasn't done!
Thank you for including the film clip so we could enjoy the robotic action of the Duck, Chicks and Rat!
Super or as they say in Hollywood a ***** (5 Star Rating)
The Squirrel was a special treat - I love to watch and photograph them! They have a charm about them. A deceased American painter John Ross loved them and on some of his shows he painted with a baby squirrel in his shirt pocket!
But being a LEO I loved the lion/aligator fight scene you were very creative with LEGO Creator in this creation, that's what these bricks are for to create!
I am naming you one of my favorites!
And to paraphrase a famous expression: "The FAMILY that builds together stays togeher!"
Just like our LEGO Bricks!

Great generalization of your previous MOCs and great new additions as well! I love the swans best of all. Excellent work and photography as always.
Hi Stephen, Thankx! About the swan: We thougth that it would be nice to make some affordable MOC's on top of all the expensive (NXT) creations. That's how the swan and the sheep were born. By the way they will be fore sale during Brick Mania in Belgium .... :)
what you do is so beautiful and fascinating!!! what!? you did nt bring the turbo ninja there? too bad, as it would have impressed a lot!!! i still laugh while thinking about it! 10 000 rpm! lol! great work! and good luck!
