Mountain's dark secret

A church atop a mountain harbors a dark secret. Something I learned in art class at college is that sculptures are best when interesting from all angles. Besides that I have a limited number of grey slopes for mountains. So what is this secret?
About this creation




Yes, the devil lies enthroned beneath the sanctuary. The castle is in microscale, so this makes the minifigure devil a giant.
