The Fourth Aridike and The Seventh Aridike
The Fourth and Seventh Aridikes in the League of Labled Aridikes. Don't ask...complex alternate timeline science.
About this creation
"You see, there is a point in history where you, as you may have already guessed, travel through time to create the paradox that starts this whole business of Toa-hood. The thing about this paradox, however, is that it causes a fracture in the time stream, at least yours, and, well, I won't get into details, but, the end results are that of hundreds of parallel, symmetric versions of you that all have slight attitude, moral, physical or mental changes, but with the same past. These altercations all produce similar, and yet completely different, and infinite parallel timelines in which you take on different forms, duties, and roles in the way the Multiverse works:"

~The Fourth, Ch. 15 of Aridike's Tale

That explains one thing...but there's a whole lot yet to be explained, so just keep an eye out for next week's post. :D Anywho...onto their histories!

The Fourth Aridike is a noble and gallant Temporal Version of Aridike, seeking to rid the world of injustice and evil. After his transformation into a Toa, he went off onto Spherus Magna and eventually became the high ruler of the Order, which flourished under his just rule, and the whole planet shared a century of peace.

Eventually, he was contacted by a mysterious being, claiming to be another version of Aridike, one with complete power over Time and Space, called the First. He offered the Fourth a place in what he called, "a collation for the influential."

This 'collation' was the League of Labeled Aridike's, upon which the different versions of Aridike could all be organized as an elite force for maintaining not just their own Universes, but the Multiverse as a whole. While impossible to label and organize infinity, the First could develop a system by which some, at least the most powerful and significant, Aridikes could be numbered and called to upon when needed.

The Fourth agreed, and claimed his current namesake, leading as the Ultimate Good figure in the League of Labeled Aridikes.

Being the smallest living number in the League, he alone is cursed with guarding the Staff of Time, the most powerful artifact in the Multiverse, imbued with the power and life force of the First himself. He may never release his grip on it, until his dying breath.

The Seventh Aridike is a completely evil and ruthless Temporal Version of Aridike. After becoming a Toa, he continued his experimentation with Hyperdermis and Shadow Kraata of the highest power. He was completely overrun by greed for power and supreme rule over all he saw. His ravenous hunger for power and dangerous experiments eventually turned him into a being of shadow with the ability to transform into a hideous dragon-like beast; a transformation that made him one of the most unstoppable forces in the Universe.

Over time, he conquered most of the Universe, becoming the Lord of All. He crushed all resistance and ruled with an iron fist thanks to his servants, the Hand of Shadow, comprised of the most powerful beings still in existence whose sole purpose in life was to serve and obey. His rule was absolute.

The day this changed was when the Fourth came to him. The Fourth issued a challenge for the Seventh and they did battle, the Fourth triumphing with the use of the Time Manipulation powers the First had taught him. However, it was laid as a trap by the Fourth, luring the Seventh's lust for power in that of the art of Time Manipulation.

After agreeing to enter the league as the Ultimate Evil figure, the Seventh's lust for power trapped him there for all of time.

BARON's Notes:

I really like how this story has panned out to be. There are technically an infinite number of Aridikes, meaning that everytime that someone make him, he is technically canon to my story! :D

Oh, and since I won Dach's B-Day Contest, the Seventh will soon appearing in his infamous Dragon form! Yay!

Hope you like them! And don't forget to read Ch. 13-15 on my DA page!

Quoting Gringat the Repugnant So, which one is currently in my storyline fighting the Neverending Night?
Probably in the 300s... Not over 9000, though. :P You can choose a number (320's already taken), but he probably wouldn't divulge any information about the League to anyone, 1) Considering that it's useless to anyone not in the shattered timeline, and 2) Shh...it's a secret society :3
